Terms & Conditions
All enquiries and confirmed bookings
are subject to these terms, without exception.
1. Contract
1.1 On agreeing to rent the apartment,
by email, 'phone, fax or in writing, you will be bound
by these terms.
2. The price
2.1 The price includes the accommodation
and reasonable cleaning at the end of the stay.
2.2 It does not include:
- Any travel or related costs
- Personal injury insurance or liability insurance
of any kind
- Holiday protection insurance
- Any special requirements
2.3 The apartment is normally booked
for a minimum period of one week. Short breaks of
less than one week may be available, by enquiry, and
on the payment of an agreed appropriate supplement.
3. Payment
3.1 A non-refundable booking deposit
of 25% of the full rental value, is payable on booking,
together with a holding deposit of £200.00.
The holding deposit is retained until the end of the
letting period at which time it is returned on confirmation
that the apartment has been left in the condition
it was found.
3.2 The balance of your payment is due
8 weeks before the date of commencement of the rental.
You will be issued with an invoice on confirmation
of your booking.
3.3 Bookings made less than 8 weeks
prior to the first rental date will be payable in
full at the time of the booking.
3.4 Failure to pay any amounts due on
the due date will constitute cancellation by you.
4. Personal liability
4.1 You are responsible for personal
holiday insurance relating to losses, injury, third
party liability, motor and all other aspects of your
holiday.
4.2 You are strongly advised to ensure
that you possess adequate insurance covering all such
eventualities, at all times.
5. Cancellations by you
5.1 Cancellations, however initially
communicated, must be confirmed in writing.
5.2 From the date of first communication
of cancellations, by whatever means, the apartment
is available for rebooking with alternative clients.
5.3 In the event of your cancelling
your rental, the £200.00 holding deposit will
be returned.
6. The Property
6.1 During your rental period you are
responsible for the rental property and undertake
to reimburse any damage to the property itself or
to the contents of the apartment caused by you and
your party, together with any related costs including
the costs of recovering such sums from you.
6.2 We will not be held responsible
for any losses, theft, damage or injury of any kind
in connection with the rented property, the holiday
or travel arrangements of you or any member of your
party.
7. General and accommodation
7.1 Rental is generally from Saturday
to Saturday.
7.2 Arrival times are not before 14.00
on the day of first rental.
7.3 Departure must take place before
10.00 on the relevant date.
7.4 Pets are not allowed.
7.5 NO SMOKING is permited in the apartment.
7.6 Very occasionally there may be continuing
local work of a construction or maintenance nature.
Whilst we will assist in ensuring that minimum disruption
is caused, such work is not our responsibility.
7.7 Identification is necessary to collect
the keys to your property. You must bring not only
your booking details but also your passport as a means
of identification.
7.8 Please note that this apartment
is in a residential area and you are politely asked
to respect the other residents especially with regard
to excessive noise. |
