Getting There
Getting to Ugíjar is very easy!
Many UK airports operate a service to the region.
The journey time from Almería airport to Ugíjar
is approximately 45 minutes. The drive from both Málaga
and Murcia airports is about 2 hours. If you book
early enough, some airline operators offer some very
low prices.

The following directions are provided
as a guide. We recommend that you study a map to familiarise
yourself with the route.
From Almería airport
you need to head for the A7 via the N347. You need
to enter the A7 in the direction of Malaga.You then
continue on the A7 until you reach the sign that says
El Ejido oeste (El Ejido west). From here you need
to take the A358 to Dalías (by pass Dalías)
From Dalías continue in the direction of Berja
(by pass Berja). After Berja continue towards Alcolea.
Before you reach Alcolea turn off where it is signposted
Ugíjar.
From Málaga airport
you need to take the coastal road east and head for
Vélez-Málaga, Motril. After Motril contnue
in the direction of Almeria until you reach junction
391(after the town of Adra). From here head north
towards Berja. After Berja continue towards Alcolea.
Before you reach Alcolea turn off where it is signposted
Ugíjar.
From Murcia airport
you need to head in the direction of Cartagena (by
pass Cartagena). Then head in the direction of Almeria.
By pass Almería and continue in the direction
of Málaga on the A7 until you reach the sign
that says El Ejido oeste (El Ejido west). From here
you need to take the A358 to Dalías (by pass
Dalías). From Dalías continue in the
direction of Berja (by pass Berja). After Berja continue
towards Alcolea. Before you reach Alcolea turn off
where it is signposted Ugíjar.
